CashOwl takes your privacy seriously. This website is intentionally built to collect the minimum possible data: no ad networks, no analytics trackers, no social-media plugins, no newsletter sign-up.

3. Server log files
When you visit this website, our server automatically records log data (timestamp, truncated IP address, requested URL, user agent, referer). The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in operational security). Logs are deleted after at most 14 days.
4. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: one cookie for your language preference (NEXT_LOCALE) and, for signed-in admin users only, a session cookie. No ad, tracking or third-party cookies — which is why you won't see a cookie banner.
5. Contact
If you contact us by email, your submission including any contact details will be processed to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b or f GDPR. We delete the data once the request is fully handled and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Hosting
This website runs on a Plesk server that we host ourselves in Germany. No data is transferred to third countries.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Send informal requests to the email address above. You may also lodge a complaint with your competent supervisory authority.
8. App privacy
The CashOwl app itself processes your financial data exclusively on your device. See the respective store listings (Google Play, Apple App Store) for app-specific details.
